XXX

Made on one go on my 30th birthday: so essentially, this is milestones 2. Quite different though. You might smell the milestones DNA of oud, fossil amber, cacao, and costus, but there is no funky oud. Only smooth sweet ouds and gourmand ingredients. Honey, beeswax, oakwood, labdanum, almond, vanilla, butter, rum, tonka, and a touch of blood orange and ambergris. Yum yum!

“Milestones” is all about marking my ability as a perfumer through scent.  The first Milestones, was me achieving being able to create a style of oud fragrance that I found to be very challenging to create before.  When I had gotten it to where I wanted it to be, I was proud, and felt I had reached a milestone.  With “XXX’ (30), I wanted to carry on the tradition, keep the backbone of it being a darker oud fragrance, but make it very appealing and sweet.  I went with the flow and gauged where my abilities were now at if I sat down and attempted to bring this new vision to life in one try- and I did it live on instagram.  I was quite happy with the result and am delighted to share it with you now, after letting the 50 bottle-batch macerate for 6 months!
