Sushumna

Sushumna is the main energy channel, or nadi, that runs up the spine. As you advance spiritually, your Kundalini energy rises through this nadi, which also comes along with surreal internal and external changes in your life. The journey is beautiful, intense, and not to be taken lightly. Various practices can increase this. At the peak of these practices, is an experience of the non-dual state (Nirvana, Samadhi, etc.). The artwork depicts the visuals and the overall feeling of being in that space (not that a picture could actually capture it, but we can get somewhat close), while a stream of energy shoots up the spine of the one meditating. I am eternally grateful for the spirituality that has taken over my life, and wanted to embody that expansiveness and beauty with the finest ingredients this world has to offer.

This well-balanced blend highlights Taif Rose, Sinking Grade Sri Lanken Walla Patta Oud (“Ceylon Nirvana” distilled by Rahel of Oudbase/The Oud Artisan), Sultans Grade Royal Green Hojari Frankincense, Mysore Sandalwood, Amber, and Musks (mainly Deer and Ambergris).

Boronia, Osmanthus, Blue Lotus, and Rose absolutes support a full bodied floral bouquet.

Saffron, Patchouli, Vanilla, Labdanum, Beeswax, Leather, Spikenard, and Tobacco provide some depth.

A light touch of Yuzu and Bergamot to make it sparkle in the opening with the frankincense and amber.

The amber is my favorite tincture I have ever made. It does not smell smoky or leathery… it is ethereal and vibrant. This and the musk tinctures make up the entire diluent.

It all just comes together. It speaks for itself. When it comes to quality of ingredients, rarity of ingredients, and overall blend, the high price is justified on this one.
